CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin
Also known as: CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, CJC/Ipa
A commonly paired combination of growth hormone-releasing peptides used to stimulate natural GH production for anti-aging, body composition, and recovery.
How it works
CJC-1295 is a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog that extends the half-life of GH pulses. Ipamorelin is a selective growth hormone secretagogue that triggers GH release without significantly raising cortisol or prolactin. Together they amplify your natural GH production.
Common uses
- Growth hormone optimization
- Improved sleep quality
- Body composition (lean mass, fat loss)
- Recovery and tissue repair
- Anti-aging protocols
Side effects
- Water retention
- Tingling or numbness in extremities
- Increased hunger (Ipamorelin)
- Headache
- Injection site reactions
Key research
- CJC-1295 shown to increase GH levels 2-10x baseline for 6+ days
- Ipamorelin studies demonstrate selective GH release with minimal side effects
Safety notes
- Neither peptide is FDA-approved for therapeutic use
- Must be obtained from licensed compounding pharmacies
- Requires monitoring of IGF-1 levels by a healthcare provider
- Not appropriate for individuals with active cancer

Semaglutide
An FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonist used for type 2 diabetes and chronic weight management. One of the most well-studied peptides available.
Tirzepatide
A dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist that has shown even greater weight loss results than semaglutide in head-to-head trials.
BPC-157
A synthetic peptide derived from human gastric juice, studied primarily in animal models for its regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties. Not FDA-approved.
